"Ms. Kershaw was a WWII veteran and an avid art student; studying under such esteemed teachers as Arthur Lismer, as well as various instructors at the Southampton Art School, in its early years. Ms. Kershaw spent most of the summers of her life painting from her cottage in Southampton. This special exhibit, entitled Lives Lived: The Art of Vivien Kershaw, will honour the cultural heritage of our community." ~ Aly Boltman, Southampton Art Gallery Manager

The Red Door: Vivien Kershaw's first Gallery Show

Presented by Wendy Moses, of The Alexandra Luke Gallery Muskoka, with 'live' Jazz accompaniment by jazz vocalist Stevie Vallance and Ted Quinlan (guitar). The show opens June 2 and runs until June 17. Stevie believes her 'Aunt Vivvy' is one of her greatest inspirations.
